First-class career prospects await graduates of our Master of Science in Digital Reality. The digital revolution across our societies has given rise to an acute current need for specialists in the arena of digital realities (VR, AR, MR). Our role is to prepare our graduates for high-level positions as movers and shakers of the digital turn.
Beyond the typical points of intersection between media and IT, our graduates are additionally in demand in conventional industries and sectors which have discovered the benefits of digital realities. The spectrum ranges from automotive and plant engineering, media, event technology and lighting design to cultural institutions such as museums. HAW Hamburg’s Department of Media Technology partners with diverse organisations in these sectors and can enable students to get a foot in the door of their future careers via cooperative Master theses and other projects. We also work with universities to provide the opportunity for doctoral studies in our department.
