Specialists in this area are as up to speed with the day-to-day tasks of designers and production process planners as they are with work in project management and sales roles. They are trained to take a holistic approach to business processes and to the resolution of all issues that arise.
This Master of Science degree course turns out graduates who are able to tackle complex engineering and business challenges in corporate and research environments, using a range of methodologies backed up by sound theoretical knowledge.

Good reasons to study Industrial Engineering in Hamburg
................................................................................................................................................................................................
This degree course is the product of a collaboration among three of Hamburg’s higher education institutions which has enabled the combination, unique in Germany, of application-centred training in engineering skills with a research-oriented education in business and economics. HAW Hamburg and the Helmut Schmidt University of the Bundeswehr (German armed forces) (HSU) contribute the scientific and engineering side, while Universität Hamburg takes care of economics and business modules.
On graduation, industrial engineers find themselves able to choose from a broad spectrum of potential careers at points of intersection between business and engineering. They make excellent all-rounders in roles which secure smooth cooperation among various technical and business-based areas of an organisation, and are ideal candidates for leadership positions in companies across various specialisms.
The right course for you?
