Department of Media Technology
The Department of Media Technology combines technical and artistic skills. Students learn to implement their ideas professionally and to master the demanding requirements of the media technology field.
The Department of Media Technology offers degree courses which focus on engineering while also incorporating design skills. In labs outfitted with cutting-edge equipment, the courses provide practice-oriented teaching characterised by constant technical innovation.
Today 17 professors and 21 academic staff teach two Bachelor's degree courses and two Master's degree courses. The Bachelor's courses cover practice- and project-oriented fundamentals, while students in the Master's courses can pursue their interests in more depth – for example, in the areas of Sound - Vision - Games or Digital Reality.
