General information about the Bachelor's thesis
................................................................................................................................................................................................
Students should use their Bachelor's thesis to demonstrate their ability to apply academic methods to independently address an issue relevant to their degree course's study objectives, within the deadline given. The thesis topic should correspond primarily to the study specialisation selected, and both the topic and the way in which it is addressed should reflect the close linkage between theoretical and practical training.
Students who have completed 120 credit points will be granted approval to begin work on their Bachelor's thesis. An application to complete the thesis must be submitted in writing to the examinations committee by the beginning of the fifth semester of study at the latest. The topic will be determined by the first examiner in consultation with the student. Students are also welcome to suggest a topic.
The Bachelor's thesis can also be completed by a group, provided that the proposed topic is suitable for a group project. This requires that students' individual work can be distinguished from that of the other group members and assessed individually.
Additional information and the assessment guidelines for the Bachelor's thesis are available in the module handbook.
